Rapid Rhino® epistaxis products and dissolvable Sinu-Foam™ dressing
ENT surgical procedures are performed to treat a wide array of conditions that involve the removal of tissue in the ears, nose, sinuses, and throat. Many of these procedures are extremely intricate and require a high degree of skill and experience.
Coblation® technology offers an alternative to standard surgical techniques, providing ENT surgeons with the level of precision and control they require to achieve successful outcomes. While most radiofrequency-based surgical products, such as lasers and electrosurgical devices, use imprecise, heat-driven processes to remove or cut tissue, our Coblation-based devices operate at a lower temperature and are much more precise than traditional surgical tools. Instead of exploding tissue structures under high temperatures, Coblation technology gently dissolves target tissue, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.
The benefits of our Coblation technology have led to its widespread adoption in ENT, arthroscopic, and spine surgery, while research continues in others as well. Also, our carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) technology, including Rapid Rhino® removable nasal and sinus dressings and dissolvable Sinu-Foam™ dressing, promote healing, ensuring superior surgical outcomes.
