When to Return to Normal Activity After a Tonsillectomy

Coblation® tonsillectomy is the gentle alternative that offers a rapid recovery and minimal discomfort. Most Coblation tonsillectomy patients resume a normal diet and activities within just a few days.1,2 This is just one of the benefits that Coblation has when compared to other ways of removing the tonsils. Because of tissue damage caused by the heat of some tonsillectomy procedures, patients can take up to two weeks to get back to normal.
