Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy

Coblation tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy

Coblation® tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy is a gentle procedure for removing both tonsils and adenoids offering a fast and easy recovery.

Traditional methods remove tonsils and adenoids by cutting or burning, which can cause extensive pain and damage to surrounding healthy tissue. Compared to traditional ENT surgical methods such as electrocautery, patients treated with Coblation tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy typically experience less post-operative pain, faster healing, and fewer calls and visits to the doctor due to complications.1,2,3 Coblation does not remove the tonsils or adenoids by heating or burning, leaving the healthy tissue surrounding the tonsils unaffected. This innovative approach, results in minimal pain and rapid recovery for patients.
