Laryngeal & Tracheal Procedures

Laryngeal and tracheal disturbances can be caused by a variety of things, most of which go away in a short time. In some cases, however, laryngeal and tracheal disturbances may be the sign of a more serious problem due to the formation of lesions in the voice box and throat. With Coblation®, your doctor can remove these lesions quickly and effectively, with a specially designed device called a Coblation wand.

Coblation is not a heat-driven process. As a result, surrounding healthy tissue is preserved allowing for a fast and easy recovery. Patients typically return home shortly after the procedure, and can experience a noticeable improvement within one to four weeks.
